Rotation Objectives

Adult Medicine Rotation Objectives

Last rotation of residency … woo!! I am excited and anxious to be wrapping up my residency with a very different type of patient population – adults. My goals for this rotation are to:

  1. Apply and adapt my thought process to adult patients and be thorough in my work-ups, while trying to work on being efficient as well
  2. Be able to prioritize and triage patients and medical conditions – and take on a larger patient load to practice these skills
  3. Be able to describe and relate common medical conditions (e.g. COPD, CHF, ACS, diabetes, etc.) knowledge to patient-specific clinical findings and to use that to help guide therapy.
